Characteristics of The Legal Profession

A lawyer is an individual who has graduated from law school, completed their statutory internship, and practices their profession either within an institution or independently after obtaining their license to practice law. Individuals who complete their high school education are eligible to take the university entrance examination. Students who pass the university entrance examination must choose law faculties to become lawyers. Individuals who successfully complete law school, if they choose to pursue a career in law, are required to complete a one-year statutory internship. Six months of this internship are completed at the courthouse, and the other six months are spent working alongside a practicing lawyer. Legal professionals who complete the one-year internship can practice law after obtaining their license to practice law. Furthermore, in recent years, there has been a noticeable increase in legal professionals pursuing postgraduate programs.
